Future Events of
Scotland and Northern Ireland Branch

The Scotland and Northern Ireland Branch holds three main events each year - a Spring Event (February/ March), a Summer BBQ/Picnic (June) and an AGM and social event (October/November). These events are organised by a Committee who meet three times a year, in January, March and September.

If you have never been to a Branch event before, don't be shy: we will make a point of looking out for you, and will make you most welcome.

If you are interested in booking for any of our events, please contact the Scotland and Northern Ireland Branch Treasurer.

We are endeavouring to audit our membership contact details and will be taking the time to contact anyone who has not responded to the newsletter request for their current contact details. We would be very grateful indeed if you could spare the time to either email (or call) our Secretary, Joyce Cattanach, on SandNI.Secretary@clan-macpherson.org or 01674 673569 to let her know your postal address, email address and telephone number. If we don't have the correct details for you, you will miss out on receiving our informative newsletters and fliers and details of not only Scottish Branch events but also Clan Macpherson Association events and other interesting information including updates from the Clan Museum.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

This year, instead of the Annual Picnic, we are hoping to arrange a group visit to the Great Tapestry of Scotland in Galashiels. Please put this date in your diary – further details will follow soon.

Autumn Event and AGM - October 2026

We try to move this event around Scotland and have, in the past, been to Scone Palace in Perth, the Falkirk Wheel, the Dunblane Hydro, Calendar House in Falkirk, the Society of Solicitors Law Library in Edinburgh, the Glasgow College of Piping, the V&A Museum in Dundee, the new Perth Museum (home to the Stone of Destiny) and, in 2025, we held this event at the Highland Wildlife Park in Kingussie.
