The Clan Macpherson Museum stands in the heartland of Clan Macpherson and its associated members. For centuries, Macphersons have made the hills and glens of this region their home, and from here their descendants have emigrated all over the world. Whether you are visiting us from down the road or around the globe, we hope you will enjoy learning more about our clan's history and heritage.
How To Get The Most From Your Visit
We urge you start by watching the introductory film In the theatre to get an overview of the history of the clan and its place in the past and present.
- Please collect an exhibits guide at Panel 1 and sign the visitor's book.
- Follow the panel numbers If you wish to view exhibits in their correct historical order.
- Macpherson Heraldry is in the southwest alcove, and there is a changing exhibition in part of the Drumochter Room; these are numbered separately.
