SLIDE SHOWS

Since the introduction of the photo slideshow to the CMA, we have watched their popularity increase. Everyone loves to look at Macpherson photos! In order to manage the ever increasing numbers on this site, we have created this page whereby visitors will be able to locate old or new slideshows without having to hunt through all of the different pages. At present, this is a work in progress. Some pages, such as the Museum News page, have several slideshows on one page. This makes the page visually longer and increases the time necessary to load into your browser. Therefore, we are shifting most of the older slideshows to a pop-up format. In place of the embedded slideshow, there will be a link and clicking on the link will display the slide-show in a pop-up window.

When new slideshows make their debut, they will most likely be embedded in a page, such as the Museum News page, especially if there is an associated news item or report. As the slideshow ages, it will be replaced with a link to a pop-up window.

Depending on your browser settings, the pop-up may display in a seperate browser tab or instance. Many browsers and security programmes have settings to block pop-up windows and this may affect your ability to view the slideshow. We hope to have detailed instructions for adjusting your settings available here in due course.
