Friday to Monday 6th-9th July, 2010 Badenoch We hope to see as many members as possible during the weekend. Even if you can't make any ticketed events, Saturday and Sunday, during the day, is open to all. In our branch we are fortunate in being able to jump in a car and "pop up or down" just for the day. If you have never been to the Gathering before, don't be shy: just grab someone and asked to be pointed at a Scottish Branch member, and we will make you most welcome. A very special whisky offer! To raise funds for the Association we have teamed up with Miniature Collectives to produce a unique Clan Macpherson labelled bottle of Tullibardine 17 year old Highland Single Malt Whisky. We have a licence to sell it only on the Satuday and Sunday of the Gathering (it can also be posted out on the Saturday) look here for details and advance ordering |

| DATES FOR YOUR DIARY Play "Burning Rings of Fire" One of our members, Euan Macpherson of Dundee, has won a prestigious playwriting competition and the first production of the winning play will be at the Lemon Tree Theatre in Aberdeen on Monday 18th October. We are going to organise a "Play Evening" (supper plus a seat at the play). Watch out for details in the next Branch Flyer. Scottish Branch AGM The exact nature of this year's AGM is yet to be decided, but a provisional date of November 6th 2010 has been set. Burns Night 29th of January 2011 is the date for the next Burns Night. The same format as previously: a convivial evening among friends with food, drink, laughter and speeches, but at a new venue: this year we are moving to the Green Hotel, Kinross, a larger venue with more room to move and mingle, plus a classy clothes shop for the ladies and a Golf Course for all. Certainly make a day and an evening of it, maybe even a full weekend. A very special rate for accommodation has been negotiated, more details in due course. |
