Report [Kyle Smith] at 10th September, 2006

I just wanted to take a quick moment to post a report regarding younger clan members getting involved. I am a recent member of the U.S. Branch and haven't had the full pleasure of participating in many Macpherson events, yet my first event is coming up next month at a local Highland Games, where I will be helping out at the Clan Macpherson tent, but I plan to do more, and be more involved as much as I am able. I encourage all of the younger members, many of whom haven't even been heard yet, to get involved and begin talking with the more experienced members who have been members for many years-you can do this on listserv easily. I am speaking specifically to clansmen and women from the age of 25 and younger-WE are the future of the clan and we must be involved as much as plausible to ensure that the old traditions and heritage of our great clan survives well into the future.
