Report [GATHERING 2008 - Things to do !] at 15th February, 2008

INVERNESS HIGHLAND GAMES 2007.

The Inverness Highland Games will be staged on SATURDAY 21 JULY with further functions during the following week including the Inverness Tattoo and on SATURDAY 28 JULY the European Pipe Band Championships will take place.... 4,500 Bandsman will be participating.

VENUE: Bught Park, By The River Ness. Inverness. (Head out of Inverness towards Loch Ness - Bucht Park is signposted just before you go over the Canal Swing Bridge).

TIME: 10:00 - 16:00.

The Clan Association will man a stall in the CLAN VILLAGE MARQUEE, which by happy coincidence also houses the BAR!

At approximately 18:00 the CLAN VILLAGE becomes the CONCERT HALL for further entertainment.

SMOKING IS TOTALLY FORBIDDEN. THIS IS LAW.

Please note the weather can change ; please bring warm clothes and wear firm shoes incase of dampness underfoot. If you wear Highland Dress, there is a good chance you will be just waved in, and not pay entrance fee !
