Wildcat Award

In 1987 at the Annual gathering of the US Branch, Sir William Macpherson as Chief of the Clan presented the first "Cluny Wildcat Awards." The award is presented exclusively by Cluny Macpherson and his successors, and is granted only to those who have, in Cluny's opinion made an exceptional contribution to the affairs, the spirit, the honor and the amity of Clan Macpherson, and/or families of the Clan, and/or the Clan Macpherson Association.

The award is the wildcat from Cluny's arms cast in silver. The award is suspended from a red ribbon and is worn around the neck at formal functions and there is a pin version to be worn at other times.
